Where do you ship frozen beef?

Frozen beef ships via UPS Ground to Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and New York. We limit frozen shipping to areas UPS Ground reaches in about two days so your beef arrives cold.

What about jerky and beef sticks?

Jerky and beef sticks ship anywhere in the United States.

When do orders ship?

We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so your order never sits in a warehouse over the weekend. Orders placed later in the week ship the following Monday or Tuesday.

How much is shipping?

Frozen beef ships at UPS Ground rates, calculated at checkout. Jerky and beef sticks ship for $5, and free with 3 or more bags of jerky. All orders over $200 ship free.

How is my beef packed?

Frozen beef is packed in an insulated box with ice packs to keep it cold in transit.

What if my beef has started to thaw when it arrives?

That's normal for some packages. According to the USDA, beef that still has ice crystals or is at 40°F or below is safe to refreeze or cook. Put it in your freezer or refrigerator right away.

Why are weights approximate?

Every cut is a little different. We sell by the package, not by the pound, and list an approximate weight for each package so you know what to expect.

How long does frozen beef keep?

Kept frozen at 0°F, your beef stays safe indefinitely. For the best flavor and texture, enjoy it within about 6 to 12 months.

How should I thaw it?

Thaw beef in the refrigerator, usually overnight for steaks and ground beef and a day or two for roasts and brisket. For a faster thaw, keep it sealed in its package and submerge it in cold water.

How fresh is the jerky?

Our jerky is made fresh every week and packaged the morning it ships.

How should I store it?

Because we don't use artificial preservatives, jerky keeps 1 to 2 weeks at room temperature, 3 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator, and up to 6 months in the freezer. Beef sticks keep at room temperature for up to 6 months.

Subscriptions

How do jerky subscriptions work?

Choose your flavor and how often you'd like it delivered: weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly. Subscribers pay $15.99 a bag instead of $19.99. You can add beef sticks to any delivery.

Can I skip, pause, or cancel?

Yes. Log in to your account to skip a delivery, change flavors or frequency, pause, or cancel anytime.
