Our farm in the Blue Ridge foothills
Grass N Grit Meats is a family farm in Amherst County, Virginia, just across the Piney River from the town of Piney River. Our cattle graze rolling pastures in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Raised here, start to finish
We raise Full Blood Akaushi Wagyu. Every animal is raised on our farm from birth to processing, so we know exactly how each one was cared for and what it ate. When you buy from us, you're buying directly from the family that raised your beef.
Restaurant quality, from our farm to your table
Wagyu is prized by chefs for its rich marbling and buttery flavor. We wanted families to be able to enjoy that same restaurant-quality beef at home, so we cut it, package it, and ship it straight from our farm to your door.

Our store is in Piney River, Virginia, just across the river from the farm. Along with the 100% Wagyu we raise, we cook up 100% Wagyu burgers and cheesesteaks. If you're ever in Nelson County, stop by for lunch and say hello.
